Fire-resistant varnish for wooden floors

PURPOSE:

UNIEPAL-DREW AQUA 1-K is polyurethane, water-soluble varnish  designed for fire-proofing and decorative finishing of wooden surfaces made of native species of wood, OSB boards, plywood and wood-based materials used inside living and public areas.

The varnish has high hardness and  high resistance to abrasion, which makes it possible to use on floorings, parquets, stairs, furniture in  every public facilities.

Products covered with UNIEPAL-DREW AQUA 1-K varnish  in an amount  of at least 200 g / m² have been classified in terms of their  degree of flammability:

• all kinds of wood (except exotic wood) and wood-based products with its thickness of at least 12 mm - as non-inflammable products(B-s1, d0),
• all kinds of wooden floors (except exotic wood) with its minimum thickness of 12 mm - as slow burning products (Bfl- s1) .

The maximum permitted content of LZO in the ready-to-use product is below 130g/l/

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• clean, degrease , dust and  fill up any surface defects.
• apply varnish UNIEPAL- DREW AQUA 1-K only on surfaces made of raw wood with a relative humidity not exceeding 20%.
• the varnish creates a satin coating after drying
• surfaces made of oak wood additionally require  a nitrocellulose or alcohol base  application.

UNIEPAL-DREW AQUA 1-K has an EUROPEAN TECHNICAL  ASSESSMENT.
