What are UNIEPAL-DREW products? arrow

UNIEPAL-DREW products are fire-resistant varnishes intended for use as a flame-retardant product to improve the reaction to fire of construction products made of wood or wood-based materials. In addition to providing fire protection, they also have a decorative function.

Can we protect surfaces to NRO using UNIEPAL-DREW products? arrow

Yes, when using UNIEPAL-DREW products inside buildings, painted surfaces are protected to the NRO level. Additionally, if the UNIEPAL-DREW Aqua Kolor product is used to protect external elements (facades), the painted surfaces will also be protected to the NRO level, because the UNIEPAL-DREW product meets the Polish standard PN-B-02867:2013-06 in this respect.

Can UNIEPAL-DREW products be used outdoors? arrow

Yes. UNIEPAL-DREW Aqua Kolor and UNIEPAL-DREW Special FR products have the following utility category: Type X, which allows them to be used both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, products with the Type X utility category have undergone aging tests for resistance to specific weather conditions – UV, rain, humidity and temperature.

Can UNIEPAL-DREW products be used on floors? arrow

Yes, the UNIEPAL-DREW Aqua 1-K product, in addition to being classified in the reaction to fire class: b-s1, d0, also has a classification in the reaction to fire class for floors: bfl-s1. This allows the product to be used on floors.

What is the consumption of UNIEPAL-DREW products per layer? arrow

The consumption of UNIEPAL-DREW Aqua Color products is min. 200 g/m² (≈ 0.2 l/m²). This is the total consumption (not per layer!), which is usually achieved by applying 2 layers of the product.
