UNIEPAL-DREW AQUA KOLOR

is a single-component, water-based polyurethane-acrylic varnish with the addition of modifiers and flame-retardant agents.

The product is intended for protecting and decorating wooden and wood-based surfaces, excluding floors. It can be used both outdoors and indoors in residential and public utility spaces.

Wooden or wood-based products coated with UNIEPAL-DREW AQUA KOLOR in a quantity of at least 200 g/m2 have been classified in terms of fire resistance (fire reaction class):

• as NON-FLAMMABLE (B-s1, d0)
  wood of all types (except exotic wood) and wood-based products with a thickness of at least 12 mm

and in terms of fire spread (for internal elements and exterior walls from the inside):

• as NON-SPREADING FIRE (NRO)
  wood of all types (except exotic wood) and wood-based products with a thickness of at least 12 mm

In terms of fire spread (Polish standard PN-B-02867:2013-06 Fire protection of buildings – Method for testing the degree of fire spread by exterior walls from the outside and classification principles), wood products coated with UNIEPAL-DREW AQUA KOLOR in a quantity of at least 200 g/m2 have been classified:

• as NON-SPREADING FIRE (NRO)
  wood of all types with a density of at least 450 kg/m³ (except exotic wood) with a thickness of at least 20 mm

APPLICATION:

UNIEPAL-DREW AQUA KOLOR should be applied only to surfaces made of raw wood with a relative humidity not exceeding 20%. The substrate must be dry, free from grease, dirt, dust, and other contaminants. Any existing coatings should be removed.
Application can be done with a brush, roller, or spray method.

USE:

UNIEPAL-DREW AQUA KOLOR is intended for use in environments with a service category of Type X – all conditions: indoor, partially exposed to external factors, and outdoor, exposed to external factors (temperature, rain, air humidity, UV radiation).
